The Racing Bug are heading back to Meadowhall shopping centre to get involved in another one of their awesome charity events. Last time we were there for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice Supercar experience, where we raced McLaren supercars to complement the theme.
This time we are racing miniature radio controlled ambulances! The event is the Emergency & Rescue Services Family Fun Day being run by and in support of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. It is an outdoor event attended by a large range of emergency and rescue services. The public will have the opportunity to get up close to the vehicles and equipment, and also have the chance to meet some of the professionals who use them. There will be lots to see and do including some unusual motorsport with model ambulances. Yes that’s right we will be racing ambulances at full speed around our track inclusive of those iconic flashing lights!
Ambulances are a great choice for this event, and show just how versatile our vehicles and race systems are. From Formula 1 race cars, cycling lungs and now ambulances, we really do make and race it all.
